Unless we care for the environment, nothing is going to get better. Ever.

Wildlife

We care for the environment. Nevermore has there been a need to look after this beautiful yet fragile planet we live on. We are merely custodians for the generations that will follow.

We are guests, uninvited, yet with a huge obligation should we wish to play our part. Actors without a script yet know that we can make a difference, however small.

We choose to support the work of three outstanding charities (out of an extensive list of options).

International Animal Rescue

International do exactly that. Rescue Animals.  Here are a few of their words:

At International Animal Rescue we not only save animals from suffering, we also rehabilitate and release them back into the wild and work to protect their precious natural habitats. Our work includes cutting free and caring for captive bears in India and Armenia, rescuing and rehabilitating orangutans and other primates in Indonesia and treating injured and orphaned howler monkeys in Costa Rica. Our aim is to return animals to their natural environment wherever possible, but we also provide a permanent home for those that can no longer fend for themselves.

Soldiers for Wildlife

As a former soldier and someone who has travelled sub-Saharan Africa extensively, the work these guys do is particularly important to me. They say:

We are a wildlife conservation initiative on the frontlines of the fight to save some of Africa's most endangered wildlife through the funding of private preserves, employment, training, and advisement of anti-poaching units, and running on-the-ground conservation through education courses. We believe if you're on planet Earth, you have a role to play in combatting this crisis.

We stand with rangers.

Greenpeace UK

The global reach of Greenpeace and their vast network of dedicated and talented individuals ensures that the voice of our planet is heard.

A few words from Greenpeace:

Rising sea levels, more extreme weather events, loss of biodiversity. Our climate is breaking down and destructive industries continue to threaten our forests, oceans and air. But together we can overcome these challenges. Learn more about what Greenpeace is doing to protect our natural world for future generations.
